TGLAWCET Admission Notification 2024

The qualified and eligible candidates of TG LAWCET/TG PGLCET-2024 Examinations are informed to submit original certificates for online certificate verification for Web based counseling for admission into L.L.B (3-year course) / L.L.B-5 Years (Integrated Degree Courses) & L.L.M courses for the academic year 2024-25 as per the schedule given below.

     Candidates seeking admission are informed that they should satisfy the admission rules prescribed in the related G.O.Ms.No.64 dt:26.05.2006 for admission into 3 years / 5 years L.L.B. Regular Courses, G.O. Ms. No.116 dt:07.08.2007 for 2 Year L.L.M. courses and G.O. Ms. No.42 dt:18.05.2009 for filling the seats in the colleges of Law in Telangana for the academic year 2024-2025.

     This notification itself is a call for web counseling. No separate call letters are sent to the individual candidates.

     Mere attending of the web counseling does not guarantee a seat.

     All candidates are informed to register online at http:// http://lawcetadm.tsche.ac.in from 05th August to 20th August 2024 and furnish all information in the application form. All the entries should be correct, and the candidate is solely responsible for any incorrect entry. All the candidates must pay non-refundable Processing Fee Rs. 800.00 (Rupees: Eight Hundred only) and Rs. 500.00 (Rupees: Five Hundred only) in case of (SC/ST Candidates) towards Registration cum Verification process which has to be paid through online payment Credit Cards/Debit Cards/Internet Banking in favour of ‘Secretary, TGCHE’.

     Tuition fee particulars and seats available under Convener Quota College wise will be notified on the websites: https://lawcet.tsche.ac.in. or http://lawcetadm.tsche.ac.in/ well before the

commencement of exercising web option. Tuition Fee and Special Fee as fixed by the Government shall be paid per annum.

     Telangana Haritha Nidhi:

As per G.O. Ms No 17; dated 18th February 2022 an amount of Rs 100/- will be collected under the head “Telangana Green Fund” from students who secured seats in Professional Courses along with the tuition fee.

     The fee reimbursement for eligible candidates is subject to the guidelines issued by the Government from time to time. Candidates who have already claimed fee reimbursement in their PG education are not eligible for fee reimbursement for pursuing LAW courses.

b.        Eligibility for TG LAWCET / TG PGLCET – 2024 Admissions:

  1. The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
    1. The candidate should satisfy the Local/Non-local status requirement as laid down in the regulations of admissions. (Ref. G.O. Ms. No 64 dated 26.05.2006 and G.O. Ms. No 116 dated 07.08.2007 and its amendments).
    1. 3-Year L.L.B / B.L.: The Candidates for 3-year L.L.B. Course should have passed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned with 45% of aggregate marks for general category, 42% for OBC Category and 40% for SC/ST. If any candidate secured less than 45%, 42% and 40% respectively in graduation as stated above, he should have secured same percentage or more on the aggregate in any Post Graduation or B.Ed.

Note: -The candidates who have passed Degree examination by single sitting without undergoing three years course either through regular or private or correspondence and those who obtained the degree through open University directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible as per G.O. Ms No. 31 dated:18-03-2009.

5-Year L.L.B / B.L.: For 5-year LL.B. Course, the candidate should have passed two year Intermediate Examination (with 10+2 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks for general category, 42% for OBC Category and 40% for SC/ST or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, T.S./ A.P.

Note: The applicants who have obtained 10 + 2 or Graduation / Post graduation through open Universities without having any basic qualification (i.e. SSC) are not eligible for admission into L.L.B Courses.

L.L.M: Candidates should have passed L.L.B / B.L. from a recognized University.

Note:

  1. Candidates may refer to the G.O.Ms.No.64, Higher Education (UE.II) Department, Dated: 26.05.2006, G.O. Ms. No.116 dt:07.08.2007 and other G.Os along with amendments if any for ascertaining their eligibility.
    1. The percentage of 44.5% and above in aggregate in graduation (10+2+3 Pattern)/ Intermediate Examination (with 10+2 pattern) in case of candidates belonging to general categories, 41.5% or above in aggregate in graduation (10+2+3 Pattern) in case of

candidates belonging to OBC category and 39.5% and above in aggregate in graduation(10+2+3 Pattern) in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category will be considered as 45%, 42% and 40% of aggregate marks respectively for admission into L.L.B 3 year and LLB 5 year courses.

  1. The Hon’ble High Court of Telangana in Writ Appeal. No. 597 of 2020, W.P. Nos 37566 and 42680 of 2016 and W.P. No. 28822 of 2021 vide its judgement Dated: 28.12.2021 held that the B.A. External Graduates of Osmania University are not eligible for admission into 3 year L.L. B. course and further the Court held that any candidates with such degree who secured admission in L.L. B. course by virtue of Interim Orders of the High Court will not get a right in their favour. The candidates may read the above judgement for further details, before applying for entrance or admission.
    1. The OBC candidates applying for the TG LAWCET-2024 shall invariably submit their OBC certificate issued by the competent authority to consider 42% of aggregate marks in the Graduation.

NOTE:

  1. The applicants who have obtained 10+2 or Graduation / Post graduation through open Universities without having any basic qualification are not eligible for admission into

L.L.B Courses.

  • L.L.M: Candidates should have passed L.L.B/B.L. from a recognized University.

c.         Helpline Centers for Special Category (CAP/ NCC/ PH/ Sports & Games):

The candidates are required to book the slot for special category certificate verification to avoid gathering of many candidates at the same time.

Note:

  1. All the candidates who wish to claim special categories (NCC/CAP/PH/Sports and Games) must complete the special categories certificate verification in phase-I counselling itself on the scheduled date and time. No further Certificate Verification for Special Categories are done after scheduled dates of Phase-I Counselling.

2.   Attending special categories certificate verification does not mean the entire verification is complete. The candidates must complete the uploading of educational and other certificates (caste, income, etc.) for necessary verification and participating in counselling.

  • The candidate seeking admission under special categories must appear in person for verification before the relevant competent authority. Also, they are required to carry all the Original Education certificates (SSC/10th/Equivalent, Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent and Degree/equivalent and appropriate Special Category certificate along with two sets of photo copies of certificates.
